As  an icon of South Kolkata  Vashdev  Tolaram  has  been a leader in textile  and  retail  business  for over 58 years  now.

Started.  as a small  retail  store for  silk  Sarees  dealing  in  silks  mainly  from  south  India and  Benaras  by a young  man  Vashdev  in 1965. Its  the family-run  shop  doing  a  steady  Business  since then .  It  became  a  pioneer in  the  field of textiles  and  the Store   built  up an image  of giving  quality at reasonable  prices  and , roster  of loyalty  clients also grew  multifold.

Today, Vashdev Tolaram  is a  popular destination  of choice  of silks  and wedding  collection.

The focus of  the store   has  broadened   becoming  not  only  a  Sari  retailer  in  Kolkata  but also willing to  take it online making it easy for its overseas  clients,  offering  everything  from  traditional  silks like Gadwal, , Kancheevaram, Bengal  Baluchuri , Assam Silks ,Benarasi’s, Katha Stiched  Sarees  to light  weight  versions like  crepes  , chiffons Georgette’s to Cotton Gadwals.
